Cheese Filled Pastry Bites

Serves 8-12 as an appetizer

1 wedge of brie, cut into small cubes

1 wedge of Cypress Grove Humboldt fog, cut into small pieces

4 boxes of mini phyllo shells

1 jar of fig jam

1 tube of garlic paste

1 cup pomegranate (optional but highly recommended)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Fill each shell with a small cube of brie or Humboldt fog, about 1/4 tsp of fig jam and a touch of garlic. Sprinkle salt on top of all filled shells. Bake for 10 mins. Add a generous amount of pomegranate on top of each pastry bite. Serve immediately.
