1 piece of bread (your choice)
2 tbsp ricotta
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Drizzle of honey
Pinch of Salt
Place bread in the toaster. While bread is toasting, slice banana into thin circles. When the bread is toasted as desired, remove from the toaster & onto a plate. Spread ricotta from edge to edge on the toast. Add sliced banana. Drizzle desired amount of honey. Sprinkle a little bit of cinnamon. Finish with a pinch of salt & enjoy!
I love this easy, nutritious, & delicious snack. Bananas are rich in antioxidants, contain fiber, have a low glycemic index, and are a good source of potassium & magnesium. Ricotta contains some healthy fats, Vitamin A & Calcium. Did you know that ricotta actually contains almost as much protein as it does fat. It's a good amount actually! What a balanced snack!
